Healthy diet 'confusion' and why
You're not the only one confused about what's good to eat and what's not. The medical science investigators are confused themselves and misery loves company. It may interest you to know researchers may be relying less on science than on food frequency questionnaires (FFQs) which are cheaper than meaningful research methods and considered "practical" for collection of data in large edimeliologic studies. In short, FFQs record what respondents report about their dietary intake given a specific list of foods in a specific period of time. From that (yes, it's true), 'scientists' make pronouncements about what's cancer-causing and what's cancer-fighting, what's 'good' to eat today and bad to eat tomorrow. If you think you're confused, well you might be getting help to feel confused.
I won't tell you soy is a cure all or a cure anything, but soy and its consumption has been around for 3,000 years now and in Asia it has been consumed on a daily basis in abundance for eons. Check back soon for comparative information about chronic illness in the soy-eating East vs. the non-soy consuming West. You already know chronic illness is epidemic here in the West.
